Maciej Boksa

Maciej Boksa is originally from Kielce, Poland. He graduated from the School of Creative Photography in Krakow. His work is considered to be high-end fine art photography. He creates abstract forms, focusing on enigma, reflection and contrast. http://www.boksa-art.com/#!__wizje

Looking at his work all I thought of was BOBBY, his work reminds me so much of the photographs you did with the projector I really think you would appriciate his work.

Enjoy guys!

Flesh Love: Photographs of Vacuum-Wrapped Tokyo Couples

On a kitchen floor in Tokyo, Japanese photographer Haruhiko Kawaguchi spends 10-20 seconds photographing couples that he meets in nightclubs. He arranges them like pieces of meat inside bags meant to store futons and blankets. He then seals their conjoined bodies inside the bag using a household vacuum that sucks out all of the air.
For this project, Flesh Love, he’s photographed over 80 couples. Kawaguchi says the men panic more often than the women. A few have struggled for air while in the bag and one man ended up pissing himself. The women just want to look good, he says.

Kurt Iswarienko

I'm a little bit obsessed with the lighting that Kurt Iswarienko uses in his photographs. Turns out he was a lighting technician on film sets and then became a photographer. View his site here.

http://neavebozorgi.com/

Neave Bogzorgi -- I started following this artist on instagram when he had a mere 3000 followers -- Now at over 21K he is definitely an up and coming photographer.

Check out his website -- He is based in LA and has only been shooting since 2011. He doesn't have any formal training in photography. He has just made a name for himself with his camera.

I'm not a huge fan of fashion/commercial photo however I have yet to see him work with a famous model or what not. His models are young and in some cases -- inexperienced. Because I don't associate them with celebrity status I am able to focus on his composition/ color etc more so than if I recognized a Kate Moss or whatever.

Basically, he's a cool dude.

If You Leave is an ongoing series of work that accepts submissions from artists all over. The collection of submissions have been published into two volumes. There is a flicker, facebook, and (obviously) tumblr... that continues to post work that is loosely based on the idea of a journey made by wanderers -- photographs capture the "beauty of solitude " Totally romantic and intimate and offers some examples of interesting lighting.
