Double Exposure Portraits

This is similar to what Lauren did as her final!
I just found this on tumblr and I couldn't seem to find the original source but the photographer is a Portland-based wedding photographer and her wedding stuff seems cool too!

Music/Band Photography

Since I talk about him at least 12 times every class, this is the guy who I used during my Homage project with the band portrait.
He's really talented with what he does and even if you're not into his style of photography, his skill and knowledge of photo is awesome and apparent in his images.
If you go to the tab that says "Prints" there are many more of his more recent images.

The Battle We Didn't Choose

I found this a while back so some of you might have seen it before but it's a really interesting set of images, documentary style. Make sure you read the "Our Story" tab as well. Warning: tears may occurs.

John Divola for Morgan

I didn't realize Annie had already posted about Haruhiko Kawaguchi! My bad about that. Check it out for sure though.

Annie recommended John Divola to me awhile back and he has some really amazing diptychs. Morg, this is what I was talking about in class.

Rockie Nolan for Rachel, Lauren, Randall

Rockie Nolan is a NYC based fashion photographer known for her whimsical narratives. Her editorial work is really beautiful and I thought of Rachel, Laruen and Randall's work when I saw this. Randy check out 'The Boy in Question' series.

Rockie was also on the list for up and coming photographers in 2013.

Liz West for John Reda

Shout out for John. I thought of you when I read this.

Forming intensely colored installations, videos, and photographic works from arrangements of found materials and consumer goods, Liz West explores the psychological and sensory impact that color has upon the viewer.

New Jersey based photographer working with large format. He's all about film and darkroom processing. Check out his Facebook page. He shoots all over Jersey!

His series 'Afterlife' has some serious images of Sandy. This guy is bomb.com.
